Knowing who you are and how your past experiences now affect you is imperative in the workforce development process. By walking learners through this lesson, they will walk away with the ability to gather knowledge of their past experiences to current lives in order to describe the differences with others in the workplace to enhance teamwork and communication.
Solar Energy Research
Students learn best by being provided multiple opportunities to showcase their knowledge, one being through hands-on project. This lesson plan allows student to conduct background research on solar energy and it's effect on the environment and a practice their communication skills in a classroom presentation. This can be elevated by creating a debate floor for further teamwork and conversation development.
Land Usage Analysis
Just looking at the Earth, you would have the first thought that there must be plenty of land for food and crop planting so...why are people going hungry? This lesson goes into the first step of understanding what land on Earth is being used for with a simple butter knife and apple.
